"Portraits of Humanity- Padaanka" - A photo exhibit by Ananda Chowdhury

Ananda Chowdhury, can be described as the “Modern Columbus” in search of the island garnished with explicit romanticism and humanity. He draws a large detail from varied patterns, then layers and unites images in his own way with all the elements of visible spectrum. Each of his photographs is a piece of art, which captures the spirit of the subject, and evokes emotion, conveying a message by removing unnecessary aspects. It creates an impression that stimulates the limbic system of the viewer in a divine way. His photographic imagery gives the subject an impact of solidarity and feeling of self divinity towards each and every heavenly creation around us.
While he appreciates many kinds of images and forms, it is the people and their lives that continue to intrigue and fascinate him. He wants to know the people he captures in his coliseums of photography. In some way he tries through his photos to communicate something about the subjects’ lives, their hopes and dreams. His collection of portraits has been the core of his photo work for the past ten years, and the search is still on.
This fine photographer with the qualities that display his skills in different forms of art has been selected by “Art ‘n’ Interior” to exhibit his interests in photography on
“The Portraits of Humanity-Padaanka” for the people to adjudicate his creativity.
