The Concept in the wake of:
Art ‘N’ Interior an interior planner / consultancy firm with allied branches.

For over a span of three months, we had an interesting conversation going, as to what and how to create “Art ‘N’ Interior”, and reach out to the people with our creative thoughts. Our exchange of concepts led to the start with an experiment, which is today named - Art ‘N’ Interior.

In Art ‘N’ Interior, we wish to establish an original concept. Our thought is to introduce range of artwork into interior decoration to add a life to a barren space. Thus, we launched our website with an online gallery with a handful of artists’ artworks for our customers to select.

Difficulty we often faced:
Clients often asked for signature artists’ works, which they wished to acquire as an investment. They often said: If you have this, you can make it in the art market. Regrettably, we didn't.

We struggled to exist and requested local, contemporary artists & photographers to join us. A handful of talents readily came forward to join us with an annual subscription to display their works in our online gallery. Though the concept of the subscription was not accepted wholeheartedly by all, but we stuck by our words. Our intention was not to sell art but to gel art. Hence, we decided to let everybody see our small collection of works and we started reaching out globally to the architects and individual art lovers. That was the basic purpose of Art ‘N’ Interior.

Financial support:
We had a tight budget. We stuck to that.
We couldn’t promise too many new things. There was just one sole idea to provide online interior plans where we have the possibility to showcase the artworks available in the online gallery. Though it sounds superior today, things were not simple at all.

The masterminds:
Ananda Chowdhury & Indrani Ghosh. Their thoughts complemented each other. The concept was supported by a few names worth mentioning. They are Mr. Mahendra Raj, Managing Director of MRC Pvt Ltd, New Delhi, Mr. Snehomoy Roy, CEO of Lanco Infratech Ltd's Construction Division, India, Architect Rahul Sen, Proprietor of SenSenDesigns Architecture and Interior design, New Delhi.

Support system:
Technically, we are supported by senior engineers, architects, and designers to take up any exigent project. Chief advisor to Art ‘N’ Interior is Mr. Ananda Chowdhury The Team coordinator is Ms. Indrani Ghosh.
