Senior Lecturer of Graphic Design
Govt. College of Art and Craft, Calcutta , at present.
Worked with Weavers' Service Centres 1978 to 2000.

Award
Orissa Lalit Kala Akademi 1988,
Certificate of Merit / Govt. of India for creative weaving design 1998.

Special Achievement
Discovery and revival of the nearly extinct Bomokoi Sari between 1983-85, Orissa.
Been invited as a design-scholar to read the research paper on Bomokoi in
‘Gouri Bhanja Centenery Celebration Seminar' at Viswa Bharati (Shantiniketan) 2008.
